A bit of information of the difference between the northern and southern hemisphere during the season of Christmas:
Activities in the northern hemisphere where snow is abundant includes skiing, snowboarding and ice-skating. Much less like here in New Zealand where snow never comes at all. Rather than playing in the snow and ice, we tend to go and have barbecues at the beach with friends and family.
