You can't be brave if you've only had wonderful things happen to you - Mary Tyler Moore
I remembered I haven't done the Week 1, Day 2, Activity 3, the Hudson Miracle. I have to speak of a time when I (or someone I know) has done something brave.
My friend stayed up late because he was watching movies. Eventually, he got tired and he had to walk up the stairs to his room. He was scared of the dark, so it took him time to think about sleeping where he was or if he was to go up the stairs (with no light) to his bedroom and his comfortable bed. He chose to walk up the stairs and over came his fear of the dark... The End!!
Note by the publisher:
I know this isn't much, and I'm sorry. I promise to be more descriptive in my next SLJ post. Though I think he was really scared... Of the dark.... I asked him if I could use this as an example for my Summer Learning Journey activity and he agreed. Have a lovely holiday everyone :)

What does it mean to me?
Treasure every moment of your life. You will never get back that exact moment... When you sleep, laugh, get mad, cry, get confused, eat, get taught a lesson, travel, treasure them all!! :) Never forget who you are and be proud of yourself. Be better than what you were before, but don't get a big head about it.

Try your own Tapa :)
The curves on the outline of the picture reminds me of the sea in Samoa. The flower and the slightly curved diamonds reminds me of the beautiful plants, flowers and flourishing trees in Samoa as well. The little triangles at every point of each diamond reminds me of the small islands that persist in Samoa.
The drawing on the left is my original version of the picture on the right.

Feast or Famine..?
I would participate in the 20-40 hour famine because if it helps people in need, then I'm all for it. It would be so much fun seeing people (including myself) go without food for 20-40 hours. It's hard at first, but all you need to think about... Is how much people your saving right now..! Doesn't make you feel good when you help someone out, or when you do your chores and you get paid for it? You see, it's all worth it in the end when you put your mind, heart and soul into whatever your doing. I like helping people out, but I don't do it often. So for me, this is a great way to start helping the children in Uganda. For those who are reading this, I encourage you to continue (or start) helping others in need. Make a change in this world. :)

Watching this video has made me realize that, whatever you have or may not have, it doesn't matter. Stay positive and think positive. You aren't going to get anywhere with a negative attitude, you'll only hurt yourself. Stay happy thinkers, readers :)

Juan was born on the 10th of August 1951, in Bogota, Columbia.
Juan Manuel Santos was known for his unwavering efforts. He
brought Colombia's more than 50-years-long civil war to an end.
The war has cost the lives of at least 220,000 Colombians and
displaced 6 million people. His family had been the founder of the
Colombian newspaper El Tiempoin which the family has owned for
over 50 years. His great uncle, Eduardo Santos Montejo, was
Columbia's president from 1938 to 1942. In 1992, Juan Manuel
Santos was appointed the president of the VII United Nations
Conference on Trade and Development. Santos was named Minister
of Defense in July 2006, after founding the Social-National Unity Part.
As Minister of Defense, he was able to shed light on a false positives
scandal that related to the executions of guerillas that had been carried
out by the military. In 1987, he married a woman named Maria Clemencia
Rodriguez Munera who worked as an industrial and had three
healthy children.

What can you see in this picture?
I can see a village down below the picture. I can see a white building in the middle of the village, assuming it's a Church. There are tiny windows with a tiny amount of yellow in it, which would probably mean the families that live in the house have not gone to sleep yet. I can see hills just above the village. Observe that on the left side of the picture, the hills (or bushes) are green, and that there are small, slightly curved blue lines on it. As the hills goes upwards and towards the right of the picture, the hills become a shade of light blue, with dark blue paint that appears to be little curved lines. Also shown on the left side of the page is some-what curvy figure, that might just the bean-stalk from the story "Jack and the Bean-Stalk." It's like a bush with thick, curved bushes and they all grow up to be as tall as the sky-tower in NZ. In the sky, I can see whirls of different shades of blue, and a hint of yellow from the stars and moon. The yellow dots that is surrounded by lighter shades of yellow to me appears to be stars. The moon is in a crescent shape, and like that stars, is surrounded by lighter shades of yellow. Though unlike the stars, the moon has a stronger yellow-ish color that was used to paint it. The swirls in the sky to me appears to be the wind, dancing through the sky, as it goes to it's next location. The white curves on top of the hills to me looks like icy mountains. The houses in the village were nicely detailed, and all the streaks of curved lines in everything you see can almost make you believe that the image was painted when that exact place actually existed. If it were up to me to guess what the weather was like, I'd say that the image was based in the middle of winter, all the wavy curves and lines told me that it was a cold and windy night. The stars and moon in the sky, how there is lighter shades of yellow colors surrounding them, they reminded me of the street lights in the city when it is night-time. Everything is bright, everything is beautiful. Everything seems magical.

What if I had a YouTube Channel...
For those who are reading this and have no clue what "Gacha" is, it's basically a app where you create characters, take screenshots, edit them or put them together in a movie and post them on YouTube. Here's an example of one if your not getting any pictures in your head:

Food makes me happy 🙃
I eat depending on my attitude.
My attitude depends on the weather outside.
If it’s a hot, sunny and time-to-go-to-the-beach kind of day
then I would most likely eat ice-cream, ice-blocks, gum, toast
or sandwiches. If it’s a dark, cold and rainy day, I would search
for some crackers, spaghetti Bolognese, toast (again), chips,
sandwiches, and fruit. If I’m in a very chill mood, I don’t have
much of an appetite. The choices of food I choose when I am
hungry is very basic and bland. When I’m in a cheery mood I
can eat whatever I am given. Again, I don’t eat much, but
whatever kind of food I am given, I eat it straight away without
any complaints. When I have my mind completely focused on
something, I can go without food for a day. Especially if it’s got
something to do about the internet - wait a minute….
