Skateboarding!

                                      Skateboarding!
On Friday, my class mates and I went skateboarding down at the bottom court.

First, we put our gear on. We unwrapped our gear and wrapped it around our knees, elbows and hands. Then we clipped on our helmets.

Next, Aiden told us that we were going to practise turning on our skateboards. It sounded easy at first, but when we saw it in action, it looked very hard. We had to turn around orange cones, without putting our foot on the ground.

We were wiggling and struggling on our skateboards. Some of us fell over but we got back up again. We had to lean on our toes and heels on our skateboard to turn around the cones.

Later on, Aiden told us to come towards them and line the skateboards along the fence because it was the end of our lesson. We wrapped our gear up and clipped it all inside our helmet.

After that, we thanked coach Aiden and Martin for teaching us skateboarding and headed back to class.

The part of the lesson that I enjoyed the most was when we turned around with our skateboards. It was fun!

Learning Intention: We are learning to follow the structure of a recount.
Success Criteria: I know I can do this when I write an introduction, followed by the events and a conclusion about our skateboarding session.

  1. Hello Roneeza

I really like how you have typed your recount about you skateboarding lesson. You did well when you talked about what you did first, next, and so on. Keep it up!
