To Mum and Papa!
Walht: write a structure of a
letter to thank someone.
Room 8
5 Church Crescent
Panmure
Auckland 1072
Dear mum and papa,
This is my ‘Thank you’ letter to you! It is to show you
how grateful I am for all that you have done for me.
Thank you for looking after me. I am very grateful
that you can look after me at all times,
even if you don’t have time to.
I like it when you spend time with me
even if I have my sisters with me, but it is
even more fun when we are together as a family.
Thank you for your generosity towards me.
It has shown me that you really care and love
me with all your heart. I’ll return the love and
try not to take whatever you have done
for me for granted, even when
it’s supposed to cheer me up sometimes.
Thank you for your kindness.
I really like that you are kind towards me,
and sometimes when I don’t deserve it.
I’ll try and be more responsible so I
could not cause any trouble and
make you very angry. I also thank you
for letting me eat some sweets when I’m not allowed to.
Lastly, I thank you for your teachings
and your guidance. Your teachings have
taught me a lot about the world and has
been very handy. I have always kept it in
mind and will never let it slip out of my
other ear. Your guidance is very important
to me and I listen to every word. I sometimes
take them for granted, then when I need it, I
don’t know what to do. So I’ll make
sure I listen to you every time.
I hope you like what I have said
about you in my thank you letter to
you. I love you and wish you the
happiest year of your lives.
Your 1# daughter, Roneeza

I think these questions are the most effective questions
because you find out good information about the

Making Evaluations!
Making Evaluations: Copy master 1 Lunchtime Places
W.A.L.T: Analyse and discuss data displays.
After analysing the data above, I have discovered that there were 94 students who participated in this survey. Breaking this 94 amount down, there were 50 seniors and 44 juniors. The most popular place for the seniors was the sports field. The most popular place for the juniors was the concrete areas. The least popular place for the seniors was the sandpit and tree house. The least popular place for the juniors was the sports field. The adventure playground and the library is the place where the same amount of seniors and juniors go to during lunch-time.
Easter!
What EASTER means to me:
What does Easter eggs and chocolate have to do with Easter?
The story of the Easter Bunny is thought to have
become common in the 19th Century.
Rabbits usually give birth to a big litter of babies (called kittens),
so they became a symbol of new life.
Legend has it that the Easter bunny lays, decorates and
hides eggs as they are also a symbol of new life.
Easter eggs represent the Holy Trinity:
Egg shell - God the protector
Egg White - The Holy Spirit
Egg yolk - Jesus Christ (the beginning)
What Easter means to me is remembering the death
and celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
He died on Good Friday to cleanse our sins.
After three days, he rose from the dead, then ascended
up to heaven to his heavenly father.
The bible says that he sits on the right hand of God.
How the Easter bunny story and
the resurrection of Jesus are connected:
Jesus Christ and the Easter eggs is a symbol of new life.
Jesus died to cleanse us from sins, which means
to forgive our sins we have made.
Then, we can live a new, non-sinful life.
The Easter eggs are also a symbol of new life,
because they represent the birth
of a newborn baby.
The chocolate Easter eggs are a
gift to little children like us,
because the church leaders did not
allow chocolate during Holy Week.
The Lost Son!
Learning Intention: We are learning to retell the story of the lost son. Luke chapter 15: verse 11 to 32
(You can follow our voices in this video and read down bellow, or you can look up the story on the internet or on the bible, headphones recommended)
Jesus then carried on and told this story to them, “There was once a man who had two sons. His youngest son said, “Father, give me my share of your property.” So his father divided his property between his two sons. After a few days, the younger son sold his share of the property and left his home with the money. He wasted all his money on reckless living. After that, he went to work for one of the citizens living in the country who sent him out to his farm to look after his pigs. He was starting to get hungry, and wished he could eat the bean pods, which was what the pigs ate because no one gave him something to eat. Later, the son said, “ All my father’s paid workers have more than they can eat and here I am about to starve. I will get up and go to my father and say, “I have sinned against God and against you. I am no longer fit to be called your son anymore.” So he got up and started back to his father. As he was walking, his father noticed him and felt sorry for him. So he ran to him and kissed him. “Father, I have sinned against God and against you, I am no longer fit to be called your son.” But then his father said to his servants, “Go and bring the best robe and put it on my son. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Go and find the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast for my son's home-coming. For he was dead and now he is alive! For he was lost and now he is found!” So they began the feast. Meanwhile, the oldest son was out in the paddock. He came back and heard music and dancing. He asked one of the servants, “What is going on?” The servant replied, “Your brother has come home and your father has killed the fattest calf, because he got him back safe and sound.” The older brother was very angry. His father came out and begged him to come in the house. But he said to his father, “Look, all these years I have worked for you like a slave, and I have never disobeyed you. What have you given me? Not even a goat for me to have a feast with my friends! But this son of yours wasted all your property on prostitutes, and when he comes back home, you kill the fattest calf for him?!”. “My son” his father said, “you are always here with me, and everything I have is yours. But we had to celebrate and be happy, because your brother was dead, and now he is alive, he was lost and now he is found.”
